started onMay 4th. The gamewas called
due to a time issue. It resumed in the top
of the 9thwith theTwins batting. Connor
Murrell was the first batter and set the
tonewithadouble.AntonioMartinezand
Colin McCulley both reached base, all
three Twins scored. The Yankees were
held scoreless in the bottom of the 9th.
At the plate for the Twins Colin Mc-
Culleyhadadoubleand two singles.Cole
Rauscher had a double and single as did
ConnorMurrell. JacksonLocke andBrett
Babcock both recorded singles.
Hitting for the Yankees were Gianni
Ferrarawith twosinglesandadouble.Tom
Condidorio, Ryan Shirley and Landon
Saeva all chipped inwith singles

Ferrarawalked twice andwould score on

scored for the Twins. Colin McCulley
had a triple and scored twice. Jackson

Antonio Martinez drew two walks and
scored two runs.

TheRedSoxand Indians squaredoff
in what would prove to be a great game.
The Red Sox were able to sneak by the
Indians by a score of 10-9.
The Indiansgot thescoring in the topof
the1st inning.Thewereable topushacross
2 runs by Maveric Mckenzie and Tony
Piazza. ZachVanderhoof had a hit in the
inning.TheRedSox responded in thehalf
with 3 runs of their own. John Panepento
didn’t wastemuch time as he hit the first
pitchhe sawover the left centerfieldwall,
making the score 2-1. The Red Sox kept
going with hits by XavienWalker, Luke
Caccamise andAydenRiggi.Walker and
Caccamisewould also score in the frame
making the scoreRedSox3, Indians 2.
The Indians had a huge inning in the
2nd. JacobIten(walk)andJudeSherman(s-
ingle)would reachbase tostart the inning.
AMavericMckenziewalkwould load the
bases. Tony Piazza would drive in a run
afterbeinghitbyapitch.That set thestage
forVanderhoof.Zachhitagrandslamover
the center field wall giving the Indians a
7-3 lead. The Red Sox answered with 2
of their own in their half of the second.
ConsecutivesinglesbyPanepento,Walker,
JoeyBrennanandCaccamisewouldplate
the runs. The score after 2was Indians 7,
RedSox 5.
The Indians would be retired in order
in the 3rd while the Red Sox kept their
momentumgoingby scoring2more runs.
ZachTooleywould singleand score in the
frame.Walker added another hit and run
tomake the score 7-7.
Mckenziewould single and score on a
Cory Wallace single in the 4th. Making
the score8-7 Indians. TheRedSoxwould
answer in a big way in their half of the
4th. Riggi and Luke Lathan would start
the inning with singles. Jayce Panepento
would followwith a hit by pitch, loading
the bases. Tooley would knock in a run
withhis2ndhitof thegame.Walkerwould
drive in the next 2with his 4th hit of the
game, a double. The score was Red Sox
10, Indians 8.
The Indians were held scoreless in the
5th. JackDuyssen(single), Iten(single)and
Sherman(single) were all left stranded to
keep the score at 10-8. TheRedSoxgot a
triple fromCaccamise in the fifth but he
was unable to score.
In the6thMaicenMckenziewoulddou-
ble and score tomake the score 10-9 Red
Sox.Hewasknocked inonDuyssenssingle.
Pitching for theRedSixwereCaccam-
ise and Brennan. Luke went 3 innings
and struck out 5. Brennan also went 3
innings, he struck out 2. For the Indians,
Vanderhoofpitched21/3.He struckout 7.

Orioles 11 Yankees 4
TheOriolesandYankeesmetonawarm
Wednesday night for the second time this
season. TheOrioles startedoff quickly in
the first. DrewStrollo led off the bottom
of the inning with a single, and walks to
AdrianStephensandJimmyBurns loaded
the bases. Benny “The Bomber” Pocock
continuedwith his torrid hitting, blasting
agrand slam, his4thdinger of the season,
to give theO’s an early 4-0 lead.
In the 2nd, JakeHiggins put theYanks
on theboardafterbeinghitbyapitch, scor-
ingafteracoupleofwalksandawildpitch.
TheYankeescut the leaddown in the3rdas
well, asRyanHiggins andGianni Ferrara
scored after singles, leaving the score at
4-3 Orioles. The Orioles extended their
lead in the bottom half of the 3rd to 5-3,
after adoublebyAndrewPocockandRBI
single by JamesBlake.
Gianni Ferrara would score in the top
of the 4th after a Tommy Condidorio
single, tightening the score again, now
at 5-4 Orioles. The Orioles pulled away
in the bottom of the 4th however. Drew
Strollo was the headlight again, leading
off the inningwith a single, then scoring
onaAdrianStephens triple. JimmyBurns
would knock in Stephens with a triple of
hisown, and in turnwould scoreonaBen
Pocock single. Twomore singles, byAn-
drew Pocock and James Blake, would set
the table for IsaacFurr,whoansweredwith
hisfirstLittleLeaguehit, anRBI single to
close out the scoring 11-4Orioles.
Connor Hegeman pitched themajority
of thegame for theYankees, strikingout5,
andwasrelievedbyRyanShirley. Brandon
Shirleymade a fantastic grab in left field,
robbing an Orioles batter of extra bases.
Hitting for theYankeeswith singleswere
Ryan Shirley, Gianni Ferrara, Connor
Hegeman, TommyCondidorio, andRyan
Higgins (3). Jake Higgins and Adam
Woodworth both reached base multiple
timeswithwalks.
For the shorthanded Orioles, Drew
Strollohad threehits, scoring twice, ashe
filled inatcatcher forhisbrotherTylerwho
missed thegamewithabroken thumb. Ben
Pocockhad twohits, includingahomerun,
driving in 5 and scoring 2 runs himself.
Little brother Andrew Pocock also had 2
hits, scoring twice and driving in 1. Jim-
my Burns and Adrian Stephens both had
triples, scoring twice, driving in 1 each.
James Blake added 2 hits and 2RBI, and
IaienFrawley and IsaacFurr also singled.
Jimmy Burns pitched the first two
innings, striking out 5 to get thewin for
theOrioles.ThePocockbrotherspitched
the next 3 innings, before Drew Strollo
closed the game, pitching a scoreless
final inning.
Twins 5 A’s 2
TheTwinswereable toget thingsgoing
in the first. After ColinMcCulley drew a
walkandColeRauscher hit a single,Brett
Babcockplaced aball just inside the right
field lineclearing thebases fora inside the
park HR. McCulley would go onto score
another run in the third after a single.
AidenDaviswould also score a run in the
fourth inning after a base hit.
Cole Rauscher was impressive on the
mound for the Twins. He struck out 13
without giving up awalk.
TheA’s did record10hits in the game.
Brady Fix had 2 doubles, ConnorWright
had a triple a single and scored a run.
JacksonFixhadadouble, singleandscored
once. Jacob Williams and Mike Covert
each had2 singles.
Shawn Moribito started for the A’s
before being relieved byBrady Fix. They
combined for 12 strikeouts and 3 base
onballs.
TheTwinsmoved to 11-2with thewin
and theA’s dropped to 10-3
Indians 6 Orioles 3
The Indians hosted the Orioles in
the secondmeetingof the seasonbetween
these two teams. DrewStrollowould lead
off the topof the1st inningwith a laser to
left-center for a double. Drewwould later
score on a fielder’s choice. The Indians
would answer in the bottom of the 1st
scoring 3 runs on no hits. MavericMcK-
enzie, Tony Piazza, Cory Wallace, and
Connor McGee would each work walks
in the inning. ZachVanderhoof and Jack
Duysseneachdrove ina runona sacrifice
and Cory Wallace would steal home to
plate the 3rd run. The Indianswould add
another run in the bottomof the 2nd after
a 2-out double hit byMavericMcKenzie.
McKenzie would score on a base hit by
Piazza. The teams would go scoreless
until the Indians extended their lead in
the bottom of the 5th inning when Zach
Vanderhoof would lead off with a blast
over the center field fence. CoryWallace
would followwith a single and later score
onapassedball. TheOrioleswouldbegin
to threaten in the tophalfof the6th inning
whenBenPolcockhammered one to cen-
ter field for a 2-run shot. But the Indians
would retire the very next batter to close
out thewin. ZachVanderhoofpitchedwell
for the Indiansgoing5 innings, allowing1
run on 4 hits, and striking out 10 batters.
Maveric McKenzie came on in relief of
Vanderhoof. Pitching for theOrioleswere
JimmyBurns,TyStrollo,andJamesBlake.
Hitting for the Indians were Maveric
McKenzie (double), Tony Piazza, Zach
Vanderhoof(homerun),andCoryWallace.
Hitting for the O’s were Drew Strollo
(single, double), TylerStrollo (2hits), and
BenPolcock (single, home run).
Yankees 8WhiteSox3
TheWhiteSox tookanearly leadon the
Yankees. In the topof thefirstFinShelby,
KennySaunders, andMikeBuccinawould
all hit singles and eventually score. Josh
Noble also added a single for the White
Sox. The Yankees battled back in the
bottom of the inningwithGianni Ferrara
and Ryan Shirley scoring runs. After 1
inning thescorewasYankees2WhiteSox
3. The Yankees defense would come up
big the rest of the game, shutting out the
WhiteSox. TheYankswould scoreagain
in the third inningafterGianniFerrarahit
a tripleandwas thenscoredonaRyanHig-
ginsRBIdouble, tying thegameat 3. The
Yankeeswouldblow thegameopen in the
bottom of the 5th inning. Gianni Ferrara
leadoffwithasingleandwasscoredagain
by a Ryan Higgins RBI double. Tommy
Condidorio would then hit his own RBI
double scoring Ryan Higgins. Next up
JakeHigginsandAdamWoodworthwould
each reachbaseandscoreonsomeaggres-
sive base running to make the game 8-3
in favor of the Yankees. Pitching for the
Yankees Gianni Ferrarawent 5 complete

TheTwinswere able togut out a tough
one against a hungry Tigers team. Adam
Risewick startedon thehill for theTigers
and pitched a very strong game before
being relieved by Rob Newmark. The
Tigers were on the board first as they put
up3 runs in the third.Risewick,Newmark
andMerrittHollyallhit singlesandscored
runs in the inning.Hollywouldalsocollect
adouble in thefifthonahardhitball to left.
JoeyStephany andWadeDziedzichelped
theTigers causewith singles.
TheTwinswereable toget a runacross
in the third after back to back doubles by
McCulley andRauscher. Then in thefifth
inning theTwinswereable to take the lead.
Aiden Davis and Colin McCulley both
