What a splendid day
for a Rotary meeting
as we only had six of
our merry band absent!
We welcomed LHS Se-
niors EmilyGraham and
Daniel Weaver who en-
lightened us as to their
post-graduation plans.
Jamie Schwartz from
LeRoy Nursery School
was on-hand to accept a
Rotarydonation.
MarthaBailey reported
on our Rent-A-Rotarian
andRotaryExcitedAbout
Learning (REAL) proj-
ects. Sam Vagg thanked
everyone that contributed to our
Graze-to-Raise/75thAnniversary
celebration. The Graze part was
successful in and of itself and a
big thank you to all our donors
and patrons!
Most of the members that
were absent last week were rep-
resenting Rotary at the Genesee
CountyDayofCaring.However,
RobMurray and JoeGiannettino
both missed because they were
at work… helping others and so
offered up green cards. Martha
BaileyandJimEllison receiveda
rousing renditionofHomeon the
Range inhonorof theirbirthdays.
Good attendance means great
opportunities forPresidentRandy
to collect fines. Fining is a long
standing tradition in our Club.
Thefinesusually recognizemem-
bers in a goodway and the fines
go towardyourdues.At theendof
theRotaryyear, eachmemberhas
been “fined” the same amount.
We are told by many visiting
Rotarians that thefiningsession is
oneof several entertaining things
thatmakesLeRoyClub amake-
up destination!
Bob Bennett was called for
receiving the prestigious Alpha
Medal of Service from theGCC
Foundation.BobBennettcredited

on for the lovely Installation
Dinner invites and TonyGugino

wedded bliss.
There were plenty of new
thingsrecognized thisweek.Mar-
