Notes

President Grayson begin the

weekly meeting at the Greens

of LeRoy. Announcements

were made about the upcoming

Rotary District Conference. Bob

reminded everyone to continue

selling tickets for the appliance

raffle. The appliance raffle is

November 6th all Rotarians

are selling tickets. GCC is

look i ng for Rot ar ians who

may be interested in hosting

international students for the

upcoming holidays. Kim shared

an update on the MachPelah

Cemetery Walk that’s being

sponsored by the Interact Club.

There were many fines for

missed meetings and those

Rotarians either had makeup

meetings or green cards. The

fining session didn’t end there.

Bob Carlson was fined for his

an infraction during a program.

Mike was fined for helping out

a fellow Rotarian. Nannette

was charged for a nice sparkly

bag. Tim was charged for an

accountant’s handbook from

1938, as it was a rare artifact.

Rob was fined for being in a

photograph from the Oatka

Festival. Randy paid for a

wonderful notepad advertising

Orcon and Bob Boyce was fined

for his travels. The fining session

was filled with excitement.

The program was given by

Randy Vink and focused on

Rotary Membership and our

group’s role in inviting new

potential members. Randy

reviewed ways to bring in new

members and the goal to continue

to grow the club. The LeRoy

Rotary Club is a nice size, but

it’s important to keep growing.

for a lunch meeting.
