citizens of a recent scam phone
call being received by person(s)
in the LeRoy/Genesee county
area. The caller states he is from
the IRSand that a lawsuit isbeing
filedagainst thevictim forunpaid
taxes.Further thescamcaller then
demands money and the social
securitynumber of the victim.
TheLeRoyPolice suggest that
ifyoureceive(d)suchacallplease
do not supply the scam caller
with any information and hang
up. Further do not give or send
thescamcalleranymoney. Ifyou
have further questions on such a
callwhichyoumayhave received
pleasecontact theLeRoy (oryour
local) Police.
