White Sox 7 A’s 6
TheWhitesox andA’s played aMonday night
matchup that proved to be a thriller. The A’s
startedoff the scoring in the topof thefirst inning
as Chase Bordonaro andBrady Fix scored off of
Luke Rider’s single. The Whitesox came right
back to tie the game in the bottom of the first as
Andrew Kettle hit a double that scored Bryce
Lathan and Ryan Friend. The scoring continued
in the top of the third inning as JacobMarcello’s
singlescoredAidenRobinsonandLukeRider.The
Whitesox answered in the bottom of the third to
tie the game 4-4whenRyanFriendbelted a 2 run
homer that scoredKennySaunders. TheWhitesox
would then add 2more runs in the bottom of the
fifth when Ryan Friend hit a triple that scored
Kenny Saunders and Friend was able to reach
homeon an errormaking the score6-4going into
the top of the 6th. The A’s led off the top of the
6th with singles by Chase Bordonaro and Brady
Fix.AidenRobinson thenhit a2RBI single tying
the game 6-6.With bases loaded at the bottom of
the 6thBryceLathan hit aRBI single that scored
JackDuyssen towin thegame. ChaseBordonaro
started on the mound going 4 2/3 strong innings
strikingout12andwalking3.BradyFixclosedout
the final 1 1/3 innings striking out 3 andwalking
3. Kenny Saunders started on themound for the
Whitesoxpitching41/3 inningsstrikingout7and
walking 2. AndrewKettle closed out the final 1
2/3 innings striking out 4 and nowalks. Hitting
for theA’swereChaseBordonarowith 2 singles,
Brady Fix with 3 singles, Aiden Robinson with
2 singles and 2 RBIs, Luke Rider with 2 singles
and 1 double and 2RBIs, JacobMarcellowith 1
single and 2RBIs and Jackson Fixwith 1 single.
Hitting for the Whitesox was Kenny Saunders
with 1 double, Bryce Lathanwith a single and 1
RBI,RyanFriendwithaHome runand triplewith
4RBIs, AndrewKettlewith a double and2RBIs
and JackDuyssenwith a single.
Orioles 8 Twins 7
TheOrioles andTwins squaredoff onTuesday
night in what would amount to a back and forth
battle that entertained the crowd from beginning
toend. TheTwinsstartedoutwithabangasColin
McCulley ledoff thegamewitha tripleandscored
quicklyafterwardsonadoublebyColeRauscher.
Rauscherwould score soonafteronahardhit ball
byEthanBeswick,who in turn rounded thebases
on a hit by Jackson Locke, giving the Twins an
early 3-0 lead.
The Orioles struck back immediately in the
bottom of the 1st. After a walk to Adam Rise-
wick and single byAlex Panepento, Finn Shelby
hammered a tripled to score both. CoryWallace
woulddrive inShelbyonafielder’schoice toknot
up the score 3-3 after one.
Starting pitchers Colin McCulley and Adam
Risewickwouldbothsettle inafter thefirst inning.
The Orioles took a 4-3 lead in the third when
Panepento singled in Risewick. This would set
the stage for a wild finish. In the bottom of the
fifth, walks toRisewick andTyler Strollo offered
Panepentoanotheropportunity toproduce. Hedid,
knocking inboth runners on a sharp single. Cory
Wallacewould follow suit with a hard hit ball to
scorePanepento. JoeyStephanywould enjoyhis
firstLLhit,knocking inWallace togive theOrioles
an 8-3 leadheading into the sixth inning.
The fireworks did not end there, as the young
Twins team fought back. Errors in thefield and a
walkwould load thebases forEthanBeswick,who
promptlyknocked inMcCulley, JoeyBrennan,and
ColeRauscher. With the score now 8-6, Jackson
Locke rocked a triple to bring the score to 8-7
with no outs. On a passed ball, Locke darted for
home to attempt to tie the game, however catcher
Alex Panepento hustled to retrieve the ball and
tagged out Locke to preserve the lead. Walks to
Kaden Burger and Jacob Elmore and a passed
ball offered the Twins another opportunity to tie
the score. However Joey Stephany entered the
game at pitcher to strike out the final two batters
to preserve thewin.
ColinMcCulley struckout tenpitching for the
Twins,whileJoeyBrennanalsocontributedon the
mound. McCulleydoubledand tripledandscored
2 runs,whileEthanBeswickdoubled twice, scored
twice and had 4 RBI. Cole Rauscher doubled
(RBI) and scored twice, while Jackson Locke
singled, tripled, and had 2 RBI. Other offensive
contributors were Joey Brennan (walk and run),
KadenBurger (2walks), JacobElmore (3walks),
XavienWalker (walk), andMatthewBeswickwith
awalk andhis first LL hit!
AdamRisewick struck out 7 notching the win
for theO’s. FinnShelbyprovidedessentialmiddle
reliefstrikingout3whileJoeyStephanystruckout
2 the earn the save. Risewick scored3 timeswith
2 walks, while Alex Panepento stayed hot at the
plate going 3 for 3with 2 runs and 3 RBI. Finn
Shelby tripled (1 run, 2RBI), while Tyler Strollo
andCoryWallacealsoadded runs. JoeyStephany
andConnorHegemanalsoaddedsingles,bothfirst
hits at theLL level!
RedSox9 Tigers 4
On a beautiful sunny day, the Tigers and the
RedSoxplayed averywell playedballgame. The
RedSoxwon thegamebya scoreof 9-4.TheRed
Soxwere ledon themoundbyGrantGilliganand
Andrew Loftus. Gilligan started the game and
went 3 Inn. Grant gave up 4 runs on 3 hits while
striking out 2vwhile earning thewin. Loftus also
went 3 Inn. Andrew did not allow a hit over the
final 3 inningswhile striking out 8.
TheTigers receivedagreat gameon themound
byCamGreene.Cam struckout 10 thru4 innings.
JamesBlake recorded 2 strikeouts in relief.
The hitting stars for the Red Sox were Loftus
whohad3hitsand scored3 runs. JohnPanepento,
Gilligan, Jimmy Burns and Ben Pocock all had
good games at the plate with Pocock adding a
key, 3 run Double in the 3rd inning to give his
team the lead.
For theTigers,GiavanniCaccamise led theway
with his first HR of the year. Greene andGianni
Ferrara also chipped in offensively. Ferrara had a
triplewith a run scored andGreene a doublewith
2 runs scored.
Yankees 3 Indians 0
OnThursday the Indians faced theYankees in
little league action. CodyLytle started off on the
mound for theYankees. For the IndiansMaveric
MacKenzie opened the gamewith a single off of
Lytle. Lytlewould go on to retire the sidewith 3
straight strikeouts. The Indians would start with
ShawnMorabito on themound. In the bottom of
thefirst inningLytle leadoff theYankeeshittinga
basehit. ZachBakerhit adoubledriving inLytle.
The second inning sawboth teams held scoreless.
In the top of the third inning the IndiansMaveric
MacKenziegot his secondhit of thegamebutwas
left on base. Lytle once again opened the hitting
for the Yankees in the third and was once again
broughthomebyaZachbakerdouble. Both teams
wereheldscoreless in the fourth. In thefifth inning
Lytlewould step to theplateandhit hisfirst home
run of the year putting the Yankees up 3-0. Zach
Bakerwould also single in the inningbutwas left
on base. The Yankees would go on to hold the
Indians scoreless in the sixth.
Pitching for the Yankees Cody Lytle faced
15 batters striking out 13 and Zach Baker faced
6 batters striking out 4. Pitching for the Indians
were Shawn Morabito faced 8 batters striking
out 5, Tommy Condidorio faced 9 striking out
3 and Ben Lombombard faced 6 striking out 1.
CodyLytlefinished thedayat theplategoing3 for
3 scoring three runs, hittinga single, doubleanda
home run. ZachBakerwent3 for3with2doubles
anda single. For the IndiansMavericMacKenzie
went 2 for 3with 2 singles.

TheWhitesoxandTigerssquaredoff inaFriday
nightclassic. TheWhitesoxgoton theboard in the
first inningwithKen Saunders andBryce Lathan
scoring onwalks to take a 2-0 lead after one. In
the bottom of the first for the Tigers Giavanni
Caccamisehit a linedrive triple to the right center
wall and tried to stretch it to an in the park home
run. However, Kenny Saunders threw a bullet to
home togetGianvanniCaccamiseout. Verygood
defense and strong pitching held the score 2-0
going into the top of the fourth. KennySaunders
got things started for theWhitesoxwith a double.
BryceLathan thenalsohit adoublescoringKenny
Saunders. Ryan Friend hit a single scoringBryce
Lathan to takea4-0 lead. TheWhitesoxwouldadd
another run in the topof the6thwhenBryceLathan
hit a single to scoreKenny Saundersmaking the
score 5-0. Gianni Ferrara started off the bottom
of the 6th with a double down 3rd base line and
later would score on a Giavanni Caccamise hit.
Ryan Friend went the distance on the mound for
theWhitesoxstrikingout15,walking1andgiving
up4hits. Gianni Ferrara startedon themound for
theTigers pitching3 strong innings strikingout 3
and walking 8, James Blake pitched 1/3 inning
striking out 1, Giavanni Caccamise pitched 1 1/3
innings striking out 3 and walking 1, Luke Cac-
camise pitched 2/3 innings walking 1 and Tyler
Klein pitched 2/3 inning striking out 2. Hitting
for the Tigers were Giavanni Caccamise with a
triple and a single and1RBI,Gianni Ferrarawith
a double andLukeCaccamisewith a single. Hit-
ting for theWhitesoxwereKenny Saunderswith
a double and triple, Bryce Lathan with a double
and single, RyanFriendwith 2 singles, and Jason
Lasagewith a single.
Athletic’s 15 Yankees 8
An eight run 5th inning by the Athletics would
break openwhat had been a back and forth battle
that saw each team take the lead multiple times.
The Yankees would strike first in the top of the
1st with lead off batter Cody Lytle singling and
quickly stealing 2nd and 3rd before scoring on a
wild pitch. Zach Baker drew a walk and scored
onanRBI singlebyRyanHiggins. Higginswould
make it 3-0 after back to back singles by Brett
Babcock and Iaian Frawley. A diving catch by
A’scenterfielderBradyFixoffaballhitbyMerritt
Holleywould save2 runsandend the inning. The
A’swould come back tomake it 3-2 after one on
walks by Chase Bordonaro and Brady Fix. They
would score on aLukeRider single.
The secondbeganwithLytlewalking and again
using his speed on the base paths to steal two
bases and scoreonanotherwildpitch. A’spitcher
Aiden Robinson would settle down and strike
out two straight batters to get out of the inning.
The A’s plated four in the bottom of the second
thanks to a lead-off triple by Brian Roblee . A
single by Bordonaro followed by a triple from
Brady Fix and consecutive hits by Robinson and
Luke Rider would give the A’s their first lead of
the game at 6-4.
In the thirdRobinsonwould combinewithBor-
donaro who came in relief to strike out 3 out of
4 yankees they faced. Another big hit byRoblee
would lead to an A’s run thanks to an RBI by
Bordonaro. A great play byLytle at short would
end the inning for theYanks.
The thirdand fourthwere relativelyquiet innings
in this slugfest. In the thirdRobinsonwouldcom-
binewithBordonarowho came in relief to strike
out 3 out of 4 Yankees they faced. Another big
hit by Roblee would lead to anA’s run thanks to
anRBI byBordonaro. TheYankswouldmanage
to pull with-in one in the fourth after a double by
Lytle would plate Merritt Holley before Baker
wouldhit inLytle tomake it7-6. TheA’scoulddo
nothing in thebottomof the fourthasBakerwould
takeoveron themoundandshut themdown1-2-3.
Bordonarowouldget some great defensive help
to get through the top of 5with three quick outs.
TheA’s thenopened thefloodgateswitheight hits
plating eight runs. Connor Magee would have
two of the hits andAidenRiggi would get two of
the runs for theA’s as theymade it 15-6 after 5..
The Yanks wouldn’t go down easy in the top
of the 6th. Following a strike out, Lytle would
single, andRyan Shirleywould lay down a great
bunt to reach base and score on an overthrow to
first. However, Luke Rider would come in relief
for theA’s to strike out the final Yankee batter to
end the game.
Lytle ended the game going 3 for 3with awalk
and4 runs scored for theYankees. BrettBabcock
went3 for3withanRBIandFrawleyandHiggins
would alsoget hits for theyanks. Startingpitcher
Aaron Leone had 5 strikeouts through 3 innings,
whileBaker had 2 through 2 in relief.
The A’s had multiple hit games by Bordonaro,
Brady Fix, Robinson, Rider, Connor Magee and
Roblee.Robinson struckout 6 in22/3whileBor-
donarowould record5k’s in22/3andRiderstruck
out one in relief for theA’s. TheA’smove to 2-1
on the season. TheYankees fall to 1-2.
Tigers 10 Indians 1
Thesecondgameofweek twobeganwith3early
runsby theTigers. TheTigersaddedanother run in
thesecond inning. In the fourth inning the Indians
crossed theplate tomake thescore5-1. Fivemore
runs in thefifth resulted in afinal score of 10-1.
ShawnMorabito started for the Indians andhad
two strike outs and a double. Ben LaBombard
recorded4strikeoutsover31/3 innings. Maveric
McKenziewalked, scoreda runandstruckoutone.
Giavanni Caccamise started for the Indians
going 5 2/3 innings giving up one hit, twowalks
and strikingout 14 for his secondwin in asmany
tries. Luciano Caccamise finished the game for
his brother by getting thefinal out.
Hitting for the Tigers was Gianni Ferrara who
finished3-4with twosinglesanda triple. Giavanni
Caccamisewas 4-4with three singles and a triple
scoring 3 runs. CamGreene went 3-4 with two
singles and a double scoring twice. James Blake
added a single, two RBI and a run scored. Tyler
Klein added a single. Charlotte Blake added a
singlewithahardhitball tocenterfieldandscored
a run. This was Charlotte’s first little league hit.

White Sox 18 Twins 8
The Twins andWhitesox squared off on what
proved to be an exciting gamewhere both teams
put up a lot of runs. The Whitesox started fast
putting up 3 runs in the top of the first with both
KennySaunders andBryceLathan reaching base
onwalks. RyanFriend then belted an in the park
home runputting theWhitesoxup3-0. TheTwins
came right back as Colin McCulley opened the
hittingwithadouble. EthanBeswickalsodoubled
scoring ColinMcCulley. Joey Brennen then hit
inEthanBeswickmaking the score 3-2 after one.
Both teams settled down in the second. In the
thirdwithBryceLathan on base, RyanFriend of
theWhitesoxbelteda triple scoringBryceLathan
and later scored on an error. The Twins came
right back as Ethan Beswick hit another double
and scored on a single by Joey Brennen. Joey
later scoredonaWhitesoxerrormaking the score
5-4. At the top of the 4th for theWhitesox, Alex
Dowell and Parker Dowell both reached base on
walks andRyanFriendhit a double to scoreAlex
andParkerDowell. AndrewKettle thenhitasingle
scoringRyanFriend tomake the score8-4. In the
topof the5th, theWhitesoxplated8more runson
hits fromBryceLathan,RyanFriend andAndrew
Kettle. The Twins bats came alive in the bottom
of the 5th as Colin McCulley started the inning
withasingle followedbyanotherdoublebyEthan
Beswick. ColeRauscherhit asinglescoringColin
McCulley. Joey Brennen’s single scored Ethan
Beswick. Cole Rauscher and JoeyBrennen both
scoredonwalksby theWhitesoxmaking thescore
15-8 after 5. TheWhitesox lead off the top of the
6thwithasinglebyKennySaundersandawalkby
BryceLathanandRyanFriendhitadouble toscore
both Kenny Saunders and Bryce Lathan. Ryan
Friend later scored on an error making the final
score18-8. Pitching for theWhitesoxwasKenny
Saunderswho threw 4 1/3 strong innings striking
out 10 and walking 2. Andrew Kettle finished
the last 1 2/3 innings striking out 2 and walking
2. Pitching for the Twins was Cole Rauscher
who pitched 1 inning striking out 2 and walking
2, Ethan Beswick pitched 3 innings striking out
6 and walking 6, Joey Brennen pitched 1 inning
striking out 2 and walking 5 and Jackson Locke
pitched one inning striking out 1 and walking 2.
Hitting for the Twinswas ColinMcCulleywith a
double and single, EthanBeswickwith3doubles
and 1 RBI, Cole Rauscher with a single and 1
RBI, Joey Brennen with 2 singles and 3 RBIs.

to earn RBIs. Hitting for the Whitesox were
KennySaunderswitha single,BryceLathanwith
a single and 1 RBI, Ryan Friendwith 3 doubles,

a single and 2RBIs.
RedSox5 Orioles 0
On Saturday, the Red Sox and Orioles met for
thefirst time this seasonwith theRedSoxgetting
the better of them, 5-0.
TheRedSox got a solid showing fromAndrew
Loftus on the mound. Loftus was solid all game
going5 innings, not allowinga run,while striking
out 8.Heallowed5hits. JimmyBurnscame in for
thefinal 3outs, strikingout all 3batters he faced.
Alex Panepento was equally impressive in the
mound for the Orioles. He struck out 12 over 4
2/3 innings. ConnorWright struckbatter in relief.
Hitting for theRedSoxwas Loftus, JohnPane-
pento, Gilligan, Burns, Tony Piazza, and Cole
Sullivan. Piazza pick up his first ever RBI.
For the Orioles, it was once again Panepento
leading the way. Alex had 3 hits, one being a
Ground-ruleDouble.
Tyler Strollo and JoeyStephany addedbasehits
for theOrioles.
