LeRoy Nursery School celebrated Dr Seuss’s, March 2nd Birth-
day. It was his 110th Birthday! The children made the Cat in the
Hat and heard stories by Dr Seuss. They played with the cat in the
hat and looked at the many books on display. Afun day at school!

Mayor
Throughout this harsh win-
ter we have acknowledged our
DPW for the fine job they have
done, but not to be left out for
braving the elements have been,
Myrtle Burrell, Mike Wick-
son and Lucie Griffis, School
Crossing Guards who have ex-
perienced the bitter cold, while
keeping the children safe. On
behalf of everyone, thank you
very much for a job well done.
Last Saturday evening the
LeRoy Historical Society hosted
their annual Raffle. It was a
truly an enjoyable occasion and
anyone who has never gone
should make plans to next year,
but I’m keeping my seat in the
basement. Please try to support
the LeRoy House and Jell-O
Museum as they promote our
community, history and charm.
Election Day is March 18th
from noon to 9:00, voting will
take place at the Village Hall,
we have 4 excellent candidates,
so please come out and vote. We
have had at least two elections
in recent history decided by one
vote, so here your vote really
does count.
“Heroes may not be braver
than anyone else. They’re just
braver five minutes longer”
