On Thursday, November 10th,
students from the Wolcott Street School
6th grade class will perform Disney’s Mulan JR in the Jr/Sr High Auditorium.
Director Ms. Jessa Dechant and Assistant Director Mrs. Lindsay Buckel
auditioned interested 6th grade students in mid September and the
ensemble has rehearsed every week up to the performance. The students
have worked hard to prepare their lines, memorize songs and learn dance
moves as well as create props and stage decorations from scratch!
The cast of Disney’s Mulan JR will perform for the community at 7:00PM. In
lieu of a ticket, the cast is asking patrons to bring one canned good or non-
perishable food item to donate to local charities. In particular, the cast is
collecting boxed or canned dinners (i.e. Chef Boyardee, macaroni & cheese,
Hormel meals, Ramen noodles, etc.) single serving cereals and oatmeals,
juice boxes, fruit cups, pudding cups, cookies, crackers and soups with lift
tops. Boxes will be placed at the doorways as patrons enter the auditorium,
and the non-perishable food items may be placed at these stations.
You are invited to come see how hard these 6th grade students have
worked! The cast is very talented, and the show will make for a fun, free,
family night out.
We hope to see you on Thursday, November 10th
at 7:00PM and please don’t forget to bring a non-perishable
food item with you!
DISNEY’S MULAN JR
is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
