would like to thank those of you who helped celebrate
Nick’s life. The many well wishes, cards, donations,
masses, flowers, food and support were overwhelming.
Your kindness and generosity were, and continue to be,
greatly appreciated during this difficult time.

Congratulations to Frank Davis
who has been honored by Ameri-
can Legion Botts-Fiorito Post 576
as this year’s LeRoyan of the Year.
Frank joins a long distinguished
list of people who have given to
their country and community
unselfishly to receive this award,
one of which is his own daughter,
Selby. Tickets are still available
at the Legion for this October
8th event.
Our sewer project was turned
down in the first round of low in-
terest funding; we have reapplied
for round two. The low interest
funds are a key component to our
plan and we will work to get the
funding. We have already made
adjustments to help our position
going forward.
Upcoming things the Board
will be looking into are the va-
cant home registry and plan to
turn these properties into viable
homes again.
The Village and Town will be
meeting to discuss the future of
our recreation program; the Vil-
lage had committed to contribute
$11,000 a year for a 5 year period.
This plan was put into effect to get
our pool up and running. Everyone
on the Board sees the value rec-
reation and the pool brings to the
community and is committed to
keeping the program going. We
will see what we can do better.
Women’s First Fitness is hosting
a Cancer Walk on October 22nd.
Event begins at 10 amwith money
raised staying here in LeRoy to
help our own people who are deal-
ing with the hardships of cancer.
Stop in and sign up.
