The beginning of the fall sea-
son was a wonderful day for a
Rotary lunch,meetingandfellow-

Baileywas thanked for 10 years
of service to Rotary as well as
CarolWolf for 17 years.
Several announcements were
made:October18th is theEastern
Cities dinner for all Rotarians in
the area. Also, that day from 2-4
the Interact Fall Festival will be
held in Trigon Park. So come on
out and sponsor these students.
The Appliance Raffle is Sun-
day, Nov. 1st.What a fun after-
noon that is to support LeRoy
Rotary. Tickets are available
from anyRotarian.
The nominating committee
is working for the 2016-2017
Rotary year.
Our program today was pre-
sented by three guests from the
Jr.-Sr. HighSchool.
Mr. TimMcArdle, Principal,
thanked Rotary for inviting
members of the Senior class to
lunch during the year. Hemen-
tioned some of the in-school
activities tobeheld thisyearand
held a football trivia game for
Rotarians. Winners were Sam,
Ron&Christine.
Mr. Brian Herdlien, Varsity
football coach, talked about the
up-coming football games. He
was also very thankful for a
supportivecommunityandmany
volunteers.
Mrs. Lynda Lowe Jr-Sr. High
SchoolVicePrincipal spokeon the
students community service day.
Entitled “Class-Up the Com-
munity” it will be held on
Wednesday, October 28th. All
students in grades 7-12 will be
involved. Groups of 10 students
and their teacherwill goout into
the community to give back.
Any non-profit organization or
Senior Citizen, who needs some
assistance in yardwork or other
projects, may phone Lynda at
768-8131. What a great way
for our young people to become
committed to caring for others.
The guests were thanked for
their timewithacertificatenoting
a donation to the RI Polioplus
Program fromLeRoyRotary.
