I would like to send out a
Thank You to the Town High-
way Department for their help
with our leaf pick up. With the
extended summer, leaves didn’t
come down too quick. But Bob
Lathan and his crew made
good use of the time getting up
the Christmas decorations and
picking up the leaves as they
came. Unfortunately, we had
that little snow which makes
pick up harder now but we will
get them all.
More progress from our
Wastewater Treatment Plant,
Senior Operator Steve Car-
roll has obtained his class 3A
license; this is a huge deal, as
it is necessary to have a person
on site at least 10 hours a week
to meet permit requirements.
RJ Lathan is also working to-
wards this level, which would
bring us back to where we were
before Russ Lathan and Tom
Fernaays retired. This along
with Andre’ Carmel will stabi-
lize our force there for years to
come; much progress has been
made at the plant, with much
more to come.
The LeRoy Business Coun-
cil will again be sponsoring
the First Night fireworks. They
are again holding their annual
raffle to help offset the cost, so
please try to buy a ticket or two
and enjoy the show.
The Village Board will
have one meeting this month,
on December 14th at 7:00 at
the Village Hall.
