Presently the wading pool is not useable, due to leaks in many of the water lines. Many towns and villages have installed splash pads in the last few years. They are safe, handicapped accessible and don’t require a lifeguard. As a result of both the Town and Village receivingAmerican Rescue Plan funds from the Federal Government, we are able to fund this project under that program with both entities contributingA$150,000.00. I would like to invite any interested parties to attend the meeting on the 14th at the Town Hall at 7:00 pm. I have gottenmany inquires on the proposed water project that will bring water to the 342 homes that don’t presently have municipal water. We are in the process of finalizing plans to submit to Rural Development to seek both grants and loans from the Federal government. Once we have that information, we will be able to figure the cost per household. There is no forecasting how long the Federal Government will take to process the application, but I will keep you updated.
