The recent storm dumping 14 inches of snow on top of the previous 18 inches have kept our DPW working to keep streets and sidewalks passible as well as getting the piles off Main St. The ground hog said last week we have 6 more weeks of this coming. We have a village election coming up on March 15th with current trustee’s Bill Kettle and Rich Tetrault both seeking re-election and Bill Lambert looking to be elected to one of the two, 4-year term positions. Polling hours will be noon until 9 pm at the Village Hall at 3 W. Main St. Please take time to vote as it is very important. The village board will begin it’s budget planning process for the upcoming year. It promises to be very challenging with the rate of inflation which touches everything we all do.
