Loren F. Merrill, 99, of Bethany, passed away on Thursday at his home under the care of HomeCare & Hospice and his loving family. He will be missed by his family and friends. by Greg “Porp” Rogers The bid to do the Wolcott St. Reconstruction project this summer has been awarded. Plan on seeing traffic plans in the near future. At the meeting on May 19th the Board will hear the proposal for a project of a planned urban development for senior citizens on the extension of East Ave. Our Board could take the easy way out and do nothing but we feel the environment for growth in upstate New York and LeRoy renders the perfect timing for a project like this. Residential growth will lead to a stable tax rate. It is our goal to keep a stable tax rate into the future.
