Tom is at Honeoye Central and Kim is at Wayne Central. Officers Chatley and Kellogg from the LeRoy Police Department were present for a presentation by the club of Walmart gift cards to be used for the Shop with a Cop promotion. Students from Wolcott Street School will have the opportunity to shop for gifts at Walmart with a member of the police force this year. They also announced the upcoming Stuff the Cruiser event on Saturday, November 30th. The event will take place at Target Plaza in Batavia. LeRoy PD will be joined by the GC Sherriff’s, DEC Police and City of Batavia PD, as they attempt to fill their cruisers with donations for those in need this holiday season. Other announcements included Scott McCumiskey letting Rotarians know that COPART will have bins for toys for tots this year. Anyone wanting to donate a toy or three, can stop into COPART and leave them in the bin. The cookie auction will be December 11th during the normal meeting time. Everyone is invited as long as you bring something to be auctioned and your check book. Money raised will go towards Shop with a Cop and LeRoy Pool memberships. Shannon Karcher and Jessica Strollo were each finally given their nametags and charged a small fortune for them. Erik Fix, Betsy Holversen, Shannon Karcher and Jessica Strollo were all accused of missing meetings. All had appropriate make-ups, some more than others and those that made a written list were given no more benefit of the doubt than those that did not. Shannon Karcher was fined for a photo of her son at the Thanksgiving play. Jessica Strollo was fined for her family trip to Italy, that is still not fully planned. Scott McCumiskey was fined for a photo that was taken of him being “part of the village” that is raising his cousins daughter. The program was Shannon Kirchers birthday speech of which she did her best to praise her husband Jason and not throw another Rotarian, who’s name will not be mentioned, (Scott McCumiskey) under the bus for negatively affecting her early childhood years.
