The Le Roy Central School District, along with the Woodward Memorial Library, would like to thank Wayne and Phyllis Papke for their gracious donation of the beautifully framed picture of the Copper Beech Tree (Library Tree). The original picture was shared by Ron Piazza on the Le Roy NY Then and Now Facebook Page. The framed picture created by Anna Nicole Nothnagle in Chicago, which also includes the poem "The Children's Tree" written by the late Gerald Halligan, was presented to the Le Roy Central School District Board of Education. The Board of Education, Janice Cooper, John Johnson, and Wayne and Phyllis Papke felt this generous donation should be hung in the library.
