Main St. ph: 585*343*7830 Batavia, NY 14020 fax: 585-343-0875 Police Report On December 9th, 2018 at approximately 10:09, the Genesee County Emergerncy Dispatch Center received multiple calls of a motor vehicle operating erratically west bound throuh the Town and Village of LeRoy. LeRoy Detective Condidorio was able to catch up to the vehicle and initiate a traffic stop with the suspect vehicle in the Town of Stafford. The operator was identified as Roberta A. Goodman, DOB: July 31, 1967. Genesee County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on scene and conducted an investigation leading to the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Following the administration of those tests, Goodman was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs as an E Felony (prior conviction). Goodman was transported back ti the Genesee County Jail where Genesee County Sheriff's Deputy Matt Butler, a certified Drug Recognition Expert administered a Drug Influence Evaluation. Goodman was arraigned in the Town of Stafford Court and renabded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail. Additional charges are pending. The investigation was assisted by LeRoy Detective John Condidorio, Genesee County Sherriff's Deputies Erik Andre, Kevin McCarthy and Matt Butler. Looking for that perfect gift? Everyone! Any amount! Typical job duties include supervising night staff, coordinating evening activities, and training custodial/cleaner staff on proper cleaning techniques in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all staff and students. This full time position typically works 3:00pm to 12 midnight M-F and reports directly to the Director of Facilities. The successful candidate will need to qualify previous experience through Genesee County Civil Service as well as successfully pass the civil service exam the next time test is offered. Salary is competitive based on experience. HELPWANTED: Cleaner Le Roy Central School is looking for a second shift cleaner. Typical duties include nightly routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways and offices. Must meet minimum Genesee County Civil Service requirements. This position typically works 3:00pm – 11:30pm shift. Minimum starting salary is $12.29 with incremental increases based on previous experience. Fulltime positions include options for health insurance and NYS retirement. Town & Country Garden Club of LeRoy On November 27th members of the Town & Country Garden Club of LeRoy decorated the Woodard Memorial Library. They had already decorated the LeRoy Post Office and the Gazebo for the holidays.
