Mayor's Corner by Greg “Porp” Rogers The village has decided to hold off on enforcing the Winter parking hours until Nov.15th. At that time NO overnight parking on the streets will be allowed. We will also consider pushing this deadline back to the 15th from now on. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience. The hot topic around the village is how to fund the LeRoy Ambulance Service, both Village and Town boards and LeRoy Ambulance Service are working to make sure we offer this service at an affordable price. My future articles will have updates on any progress made on this front. It is once again leaf season and it looks like they are falling later than usual, which is unfortunate as we have a lot to do before the end of the year. For now, until Dec.1 you can just bring the leaves to the terrace and the DPW will pick them up. After Dec.1st we would like what’s left bagged, assuming they come down in time. I try not to be too political but I would like to put a plug in for Nate McMurray, who seems like a clear choice over Chris Collins and his current legal battles, so please take the time to vote on November 6th. “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” Ben Franklin
