LeRoys black flag team started fast behind their dominant offensive line with Carter Mcclurg Preston Heschke Brody Wilson Wyatt Whipple and Anthony Price controlling the line of scrimmage paving the way for Thomas Englerth to start the offense with a big run up the right side. Jace Beauchamp got the passing game going when he hit Sammy Bogue with a pass loosening up the defense and creating space for Blake Fetzer to drive up the middle for his 1st career touchdown !! The defense took over as Jaiden Biletskiy Camden Weber and Carter Mcclurg shut yorks offense down. The 2nd possession on the knights 2nd play Preston Heschke took an end around and weaved through the york defense for another knights touchdown !! In the 2nd half the knights offense took off Camden Weber started the scoring behind a big Preston Heschke block with a huge run for another touchdown !! Thomas Englerth Blake Fetzer Anthony Price Wyatt Whipple Brody Wilson and Jaiden Biletskiy would create problems all day for the york defense. On each possession of the 2nd half the Knights offense gained more confidence. On the next drive Jace Beauchamp threw a strike to Sammy Bogue for a another knights touchdown !! That duo would hook up 1 more time on the day but not before Jace Beauchamp would take a hand off up the right side for his 1st career rushing touchdown !! The red team was ready to go in week 2 . Starting off with the ball the red team pushed it up field and with great blocks by Maddox Finnin and Andrew Sibley ,Blake Biracree was able to glide down the field for the first touchdown of the game. On D Lorilye Beardsley set the tone grabbing the York flag behind the line of scrimmage. It was then Cameron Mortesano snatching two flags in a row. Weston Humphrey finished the off getting the final flag of the drive to get the offense on the field. With great blocks by Nathan Macintyre and Noah Neth , Eli Fortuna was able to get the ball half way down field . That set Gunner Humphrey up to bring it into the Endzone to give LeRoy another touchdown!! In the second half the defense kept thing rolling With Ben Biracree, Eli Fortuna, Cameron Montesano and Weston Humphrey all getting flags. On offense Cameron Montesano ran down field setting up good field position for another Gunner Humphrey run that was stopped at the goal line. Then York fought back scoring a td on the first play of the drive. With a spark needed It was Ryker Vangalio who stepped up dancing around the defense and scoring a huge touchdown just as the final horn blew. The red and black flag teams will be back in action sunday morning when geneseo comes to LeRoy.
