LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - JULY 22, 2018 We want to thank the following people for donations to the Oatka Festival Car Cruisin: Larry McLaughlin & Craig Bower for parking cars, LeRoy Napa Auto, LeRoy Ace Crocker’s Hardware, LeRoy Hardware, & Batavia Care Quest. Also a thank you to the Oatka Featival Committee for allowing us to do the show. Fun was had by all the attendees themselves to the festival goers. We want to give a big shout out and thank you to all the car cruisers in attendance. Thank you for your patience, cooperation and understanding as we worked out the kinks of a brand new Cruise. Next year we hope to have another successful Cruise event. Thank you again to everyone for a great time. Laurie and Rick Cooper On a side note, We had over 81 cars in attendance for our 1st Annual Oatka Festival Cruisin THANK YOU Oatka Festival Raffle Results The hot, hot weather did not discourage raffle tickets sales at the Oatka Festival. More tickets were sold on Saturday and Sunday than ever before. 11 year old Sundae Duyssen(photo) pulled the first ticket and selected the Saturday winner. Ed Grice from Pavilion/East Bethany received the $500 prize. Ed was very surprised. His wife, Joann, purchased the ticket and put his name on it. Claire Shelby, 3 year old from LeRoy, proudly displayed her talents and picked the win- ning ticket. Our Grand Prize of $2,315, was awarded to Beth (Condi- dorio) Bartz, who purchased a book of tickets at the festival. She is originally from LeRoy, and has recently moved to Florida. She has many family members in the community. The festival brings to- gether a wonderful communi- ty of volunteers who work to support non-profit organiza- tions. It takes everyone from the Village & Town to make this successful.
