Please take extra care getting around, let’s not ruin a fun holiday. As you may have guessed by now the DPW will be behind on leaf season, please keep them on the terraces to the best of your ability and we will try to get to them as fast as pos- sible. November 1st also is the start of now overnight parking on the streets, the police depart- ment has been giving out warn- ing tickets just as a reminder the hours of no parking are 2 am. till 6 am. November 7th will be the Town election with 2 councilp- erson positions and a judge on the ballot, we are very blessed to have six great candidates, please try to make the effort to get out and vote. Congratulations to the Bank of Castile on its 25th anniversa- ry of the LeRoy Branch. Thanks to Mickey Hyde and his staff for being a huge part of our com- munity. If you are wondering what is the status of the selling of the corner of Rt. 5 and 19. The board is currently not going ahead with the sale at this time, BUT will be trying to work out the best solution for the village for the future. When the options are clearer, I will let you know and have public input meeting at that time as promised. The tri the Oatka committee will be hosting the turkey trot again this year, on Thanksgiv- ing Day, details will be coming soon.
