LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - OCTOBER 22, 2023 LeRoyan Honored as 2023 Notre Dame High School Man of the Year Jacob Marcello of LeRoy was selected as the 2023 recipient of the prestigious Notre Dame High School Man of the Year award. The award is presented annually to a graduating senior that is academically successful, has involvement in school a c t i v i t i e s , demon s t r a t e s leadership and high moral character, and consistently shows a commitment to the ideals of Notre Dame High School. As a student Jacob demonstrated the ability to not only handle the demanding Notre Dame academic rigor, but to excel while doing so. He was a constant presence on the high honor roll as he earned the Notre Dame High School Exemplar Academic Scholarship all four years of attendance. As an athlete he participated in both hockey and golf and was the first recipient of the Sath Dhanda Memorial Golf Scholarship his junior year. During his time at Notre Dame he was active in community service projects, and he lent his talents in marketing and videography to create successful marketing campaigns in support of the school.
