We have been doing this for the last several years and the program has been a success. The Federal program we participate in offers low mileage, fully-equipped police vehicles to law enforcement agencies for a fraction of the cost. After purchase, our mechanics go over the police vehicle to ensure its safe and ready for the road. A large majority of the vehicles offered for purchase come in white. Moving forward, when we replace an older unit, we will replace it with white. We have also switched out decals- our old decal set cost around $1,200 per vehicle. Our new decals cost about $75 dollars per vehicle and are printed by Genesee County Highway. The patrol car pictured cost a total of $8,500 dollars. If this vehicle was purchased and equipped new, it would cost almost $50,000 dollars!
