It has been my pleasure to have had this position for this long. Your trust and confidence, humbles me and I am very thankful. It is also something I take very seriously. We are blessed with a very experienced board who I would like to believe is still very forward thinking, and we could not do this without them, Ray Yacuzzo well over 20 years and a wealth of knowledge, Jim Bonacquisti starting year 12, Bill Kettle 9 years, Rich Tetrault beginning year 7 One of the goals from our board is to keep a stabilized tax rate. Once again at our Wednesday April 12th meeting at 7:00pm at the village hall, we reveal the 20232024 budget keeping the tax rate of $10.70. This year was harder than ever to achieve a flat tax rate. Our contribution from the county was up $104,000 and our assessed value only went up 2 million dollars. A 6% inflation rate touched every aspect of our business, that, and contractual obligation, forced us to look at and scrutinize every dollar spent. We feel we are going to be able to deliver the same services you have been accustomed to. This meeting is open to the public and will be at 3 W.
