Not so much of the outcome but the professional manner in which is was handled. To look at issues before they become necessities is good leadership, and exploring things like this will only strengthen our position going forward. As for the Caledonia, Mumford and Byron Bergen people and students, I can’t think of a better group to share our program with. The LeRoy vs Caledonia rivalry may have been one the fiercest in the state, but fewoutside of it realize the mutual respect from each side for their our opponents. Our board met to start the process of updating the comprehensive plan. The area of agreement and focus should be residential growth for single family, ( not low income) recreation, and keeping our community with the rural flavor while keeping it affordable and safe.
