LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - OCTOBER 23, 2022 October 11, 2022 - Members of the LeRoy Police Department arrested a 17 year old male of Wolcott, NY for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Veicle and Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree. On October 15th, 2022 at 12:38AM, Officer Wolcott and Ceneviva were dispatched to Selden Road in the Town of LeRoy for a complaint of a stolen motor vehicle. An investigation revealed the complainants 2020 Chevrolet Silverado was taken from his driveway by the 17 year old male without the owners consent. Officers Wolcott and Ceneviva were able to track the vehicles position in real time by way of OnStar, which was relayed to surrounding law enforcement agencies. A short time later the 2020 Silverado was located occupied by the 17 year old suspect in the Town of Cheektowaga. 17 year old suspect was arrested by Cheektowaga Police Department and then turned over to members of the LeRoy Police for additional charges. 17 year old suspect was processed and Issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of LeRoy court on November 1st, 2022 at 1PM.
