Thank You to the business council for the wonderful fire works display that lit the sky on New Years eve. Great Job!!! Things like that set our community apart from others. The village hall will remain closed to walk ins for just a little while longer until the Covid cases slow down, you can call for an appointment at 768 2550 to help get your business done in a quick and timely manner. Recently LeRoy lost Jim Spear, you may not have known him, but he influenced your life in many ways. Jim was dedicated to the fire department for over 60 years and served on boards and the overall operations of the fire department. Jim also was a fire arms inspector for the village and served on the sewer board as chairman for too many years to count. Jim was living proof you don’t have to speak loudly to be heard, he will be sadly missed. Our ice-skating rink has been shipped and after much deliberation we have decided to put it in Trigon Park. This will add to the small hometown flavor and ambiance of the village. We hope you all get a chance to enjoy it. This is a joint venture with the Town to make this happen. More of that to come. The village will be taking a look at its comprehensive plan and updating it this year, we will keep you informed on our progress. We recently receive a million-dollar grant to help offset some of the mandates at our waste water treatment plant and the ongoing project. “ The road to easy street goes through the sewer” John Madden RIP Mayor ' s Corner
