President Mary Margaret Ripley called the meeting to order. The pledge, Prayer and 4-Way test were followed by the introduction of guests. Today’s guests were Gary Churchill from Batavia Rotary Club and Jim Farnholz, LeRoy Town Supervisor. Announcements included The Installation Dinner on June 30th to honor Mary Margaret Ripley and install incoming President, Ben Deragon to be held at Batavia Country Club. More details to follow. Also, Rotary Excited about Literature, free book giveaway, will be held June 26th at the Farmers Market. New committees are forming for the new Rotary year. See Ben Deragon for your choice. The club presented a check to Lynne Bellusio for the LeRoy Historical Society to help with the cost of the Jell-O billboard on the thruway. LeRotary Notes Next up were missed meetings. Lynne Bellusio, Tony Gugino and Jim Bonacquisti all had missed meetings with various excuses. There were a few fines handed out. Lynne Bellusio paid for receiving the Arnold Kelly collection in which members will get a sneak peak. Randy Vink for selling his home in record time and starting a new chapter in his life and Dasha Halladay for offering Instacart at Save A Lot. The program for the day was Jim Farnholz, LeRoy Town Supervisor. Jim gave an overview of the Towns' Summer Recreation program. The expected date for the opening of the pool is June 28th. There will not be any swimming lessons this year because of the shortage of Lifeguards. This year Wildwood Park will be the central location with staff on hand. The park is in great shape and there is the new addition of Gaga Ball. There will not be any evening programs or field trips this year.
