The next important date will be the public hearing on the zoning change to allow a PUD in that area, and that will be on June 16th at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall on the 3 West Main Street. It is the Village’s plan to work with the developer, with help from the Town and County to put in approximately 1000 feet of street. That would be around 20 single family homes. The Board feels the community needs some residential expansion, currently Genesee County is a hot spot. We are not going to borrow any money for this project, so it will have no negative effect on the tax rate. If you have questions or concerns, please bring them to these meetings. It seems like with every passing day we get new Covid direction out of Albany, I urge everyone to follow the plan and stay the course, it looks like we could be back to normal soon. I have no idea who said this but I love it. “I’d rather have one person who can tell me what they can do, rather than a army of those who tell me, what they can’t. Mayor's Corner
