He is survived by his children, Dina, Julie, Samuel, III (Suzanne), Alfredo Caccamise; sisters, Gloria (Carlo) Ciuffetelli, Audrey (Robert Barone) Pavone, Janie (Dominic) Ciuffetelli, Linda (Timothy) Kanaley; brother, Dana “Danny” (Jill) Caccamise; grandchildren, Samuel IV, Matthew, Kyle and Brendan; several nieces and nephews. Sam is predeceased by his daughter, Maria Caccamise; sisters, Sylvia Brehmer, Sandra Caccamise; brother, Louis Caccamise. Sam was the former owner of Easy Way Disposal (Poplar Disposal). Worked for World Resources for 25 years, and drove school bus for Le Roy Central School District. He was a member of the Le Roy American Legion, and Knights of Columbus. He was an Army veteran, and an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Calling hours were held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 2 -4, 7 -9 PM at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott Street, Le Roy. His Rite of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake St. Le Roy, with interment to follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Le Roy. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Le Roy Volunteer Ambulance, PO Box 56, Le Roy, NY 14482 or the Le Roy Little League, PO Box 156 Le Roy, NY 14482. Typical duties include nightly routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways and offices. This position typically works 3:00pm – 11:30pm shift. Must meet minimum Genesee County Civil Service requirements. Minimum starting salary is $13.53 with incremental increases based on previous experience. Fulltime positions include options for health insurance and NYS retirement.
