While there are vaccines on the horizon we still have several months before they are going to be available to everyone. Please continue to wear masks as a protective measure not only for others but for yourself as well. The planning board and the town board have completed work on the proposed Commercial Solar Code. A copy of the code is posted on the town website for people to read. There will be a public hearing on the code Thursday, December 10th at 7:00 pm in the court room in the Town Hall. If, as a result of Covid restrictions, we can’t meet in person we will stream the meeting and post that information on the town’s website. Please take this opportunity to read the proposed code and attend the meeting as this is the public’s opportunity to request any changes. This is especially important for those who may be considering putting commercial solar on agricultural property. With all of the stress that 2020 has brought not only to our community, but all across our nation, try to do something positive for others this holiday season.
