Carol Wolfe was fined for her lunch at Silver Lake Country Club. When asked how lunch went she stated she had two martinis which made her memory a little foggy. Marcia McKenzie was fined for her two grandsons playing soccer this fall with the high school team. For the last fine for the day President Mary Margaret brought out a LeRoy Gazette from 1984. In it, she showed a picture of Mrs. Nancy Baker. Bruce fondly stated that was his lovely bride when she was running for LeRoy School Board. Bruce noted that Nancy had the honor of serving on the school board for many years. The day’s presentation was done by Sheriff Sheron and Undersheriff Mazur. They discussed some of the current happenings within Genesee County related to the sheriff’s department. Sheriff Sheron recalled the years he had the honor to work with Dr. Bruce Baker within the Genesee County Jail and when Bob Sullivan was a judge. The presentation touched on jail reform, the proposal of building a new jail facility, and school resource officers within Genesee County.
