This includes our Wednesday dinners, day trips and Music in the Park. Situations wil be re-assessed at year end to determine if we can resume or continue in some manner for 2021. Flensted, 80, of LeRoy, passed away peacefully at GrandeVille Senior Living on September 4, 2020. Luella Jean Price, 66, of LeRoy, passed away Monday afternoon (September 7, 2020) at Rochester General Hospital in the loving presence of her family. Edward F. Walbridge, 95, of Stafford, passed away on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 at the Le Roy Village Nursing Home. Gerald Landcastle September 8, 1935 - August 31, 2020 Gerald Landcastle, 84, a United States Navy Seabee, MCPO, Retired, passed away on August 31, 2020. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon L. Landcastle of nearly 60 years, son Scott Landcastle (Mary Hamrick), Maureen Harder and Robyn (Rich) Jacobson; grandchildren Calvin (Angela) Jacobson, Tyler (Victoria) Jacobson, Renae Harder and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. and Geraldine Landcastle, his brothers Teddy and Richard, and grandson Jacob Harder. Jerry was born in LeRoy, NY on September 8, 1935. He was a 20 year veteran, serving as a Seabee in the United States Navy. He served in Korea, Vietnam, plus other countries, five US states and Guam, US territory. Upon retiring from the Navy, he returned to Ferndale, Wa. with his family where they resided for 38 years. During that time he was owner of Colonial Realty andHallmark Homes Building and Development. A favorite past time was attending FHS football games, baseball and raising Bison. One position he especially enjoyed, found challenging and often remarked upon returning home at day's end, "I love my Mayor position." Jerry spent his entire life caring for others. He was involved with Lions, Rotary, Boys and Girls Club and Shriners. He was Commander of the National Seabee Veterans Association and always enjoyed a monthly Saturday breakfast with friends. Jerry often said, no matter how the day went, "God is with us and we are Blessed." A Celebration of Life was held Friday, September 4, 2020 in Surprise, Az. A Funeral Mass was held in Ferndale, Washington on September 11, 2020 followed by Military Honors and burial at Greenacres Memorial Park.
