LeRoy won the toss and deferred to the second half. Geneseo’s offense was able to get a first down, but LeRoy’s defense led by Dawson Wojtaszczyk, Avante Walker, and Colin Greene shut them down and they were forced to punt. LeRoy offense had good field position at Geneseo’s 47 yard line. The Knights offense headed up by quarterback Cole “The General” Tonzi made quick work, and in four plays Connor “Crazy Legs” Elmore cruised his way into the end zone on a 35 yard run. Noah “Legatron” Kaczanowski split the uprights for the PAT and LeRoy led 8 – 0. On Geneseo’s second possession they continued to have trouble with LeRoy’s defense and went three and out. LeRoy’s second drive was moving well but plagued by penalties. A personal foul would bring a touchdown back and eventually LeRoy would turn the ball over after fourth down. On Geneseo’s third drive they continued to struggle moving the ball at all. LeRoy’s defensive line made up of Simon Greene, Jacob Bowman, and Connor “CC” Corcimiglia shut down Geneseo’s offense for a third time. LeRoy started on Geneseo’s 40 yard line and Joey Reschke would slam his way up the middle to set up a run for 25 yards by Noah Kaczanowski. LeRoy would march down the field to Geneseo’s 5 yard line and on the next play a fumble would turn the ball over to the Blue Devils. Geneseo’s offense was no match for the Knight’s defense. With tackles from Noah Kaczanowski, Colin “Taz” Kazmierczak, Nate Baker, and Brayden Chase the Blue Knights would find themselves in the same predicament on fourth down, to punt. With one minute left in the half LeRoy would have one more opportunity to get into the end zone. Great blocking by Cam Riggi, Jacob Bowman, and Simon Greene would allow Connor Elmore to get a 26 yard touchdown as time ran out. Kaczanowski’s second PAT attempt was spot on and LeRoy jumped up 16-0 at halftime. LeRoy’s defense held Geneseo’s offense to 28 total yards in the first half. LeRoy would start the second half with the ball. The Knight’s backfield made up of Cam Wilson, Colin Greene, and Issac Stella couldn’t be stopped and they drove right down the field. The drive concluded with a 2 yard diving touchdown by Colin Greene. Kaczanowski kicked his third PAT attempt of the night to put LeRoy up 24-0. Geneseo had a little success moving the ball, but eventually it fizzled out. After a couple possessions back and forth The Blue Knights started marching down the field with less than two minutes left on the clock. After a couple of failed passes they found themselves with one play left before time expired. An attempted pass over the middle would turn into a pick 6 by Connor Elmore for 94 yards. LeRoy wins 30-0 Connor Elmore led the Senior Knights with 9 carries for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns. Colin Greene gained 77 yards on 8 carries and 1 touchdown.
