The long tradition of the Opening Day Little League parade and dedication ceremony season had to be postponed on April 27th, as rain, snow, wind, and frigid temperatures dominated the scoreboard. Despite the rough start to the 2019 season, the games will go on, as will the parade and ceremony. All events are rescheduled for Saturday May 11th. Please join us on Main Street as all of our participants begin marching from the American Legion at 9 AM. The ceremony will begin after the children arrive at the Little League Field. Many teams, families, and individuals will be recognized, including the late Dr. Anil Sawhney for whom the 2019 season is dedicated to. After the ceremony, the games will begin with the Orioles taking on the Twins at 10 AM, the Tigers battling the Indians at noon, and the Yankees and Red Sox facing off at 2 PM. All are welcome to come down to the field to enjoy some great baseball, great food, and great community fun! For tickets please contact Samantha Vagg at samvagg@gmail.com
