These include water districts in the northeast part of town as part of the county’s phase two project and an exten- sion along LeRoy/East Bethany Rd., a new code regulating solar installation the Planning Board is working on, and, of course, the situation of LeRoy Ambu- lance Service. However, I don’t want to get out ahead of myself on any of these issues as discus- sions are ongoing. Once there are more definitive directions being taken on each, I will be sure to inform you. However, when reviewing each of these, it does bring to mind another group of consul- tants the town uses to assist us in making proper decisions and carrying out these decisions in an appropriate manner. Reid Whiting (Town Attorney), Kel- ly Lathan (Fiscal Advisors), and Eric Wies (Clark Patterson Lee- engineer) have done a great job in helping us navigate the legal, financial, and mechanical as- pects of water districts and town codes. They supply great exper- tise at a very reasonable cost to the town. Many thanks to them and all the help they have given to me over the last eight years. Also, as we emerge from “hibernation” and spring be- gins, many thanks to Highway Superintendent Eric Stauffer and his crew (Dave Uberty, Jeff Keller, Rich Minnig, Matt Mill- er) for all their efforts keeping our roads safe this winter.
