LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - DECEMBER 2, 2018 SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2 An“Old-Time Radio Christmas”will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1 East Main St., LeRoy on Sunday, December 2 from 1:30-3:00 pm. Step back in time for one-hour of old-time radio, some holiday trivia, and coffee/hot cocoa and Christmas cookies. The program is free, but the church is accepting donations of non- perishable food items for LeRoy’s Food Pantry and Backpack Club. More information at www.stmarksleroy. org or 585-768-7200. We skip the months of January and February as they prove to be the most plagued by our winter storms. Our group meets in the Knights of Columbus Hall located behind Save-A-Lot on West Main St. in Le Roy. Bring a generous dish to pass, per person, or pay for a hearty, variety of delicious food. Also you need to bring your own place setting and preferred beverage. Coffee, tea, condiments and dessert are provided. The buffet dinner is served at 6:00pm. Entertainment follows the dinner. OBITUARIES LEROY/WILLIAMSBURG, VA - Dr. Brian Bower, son of Roland and Vivian Bower, died suddenly on Nov 27th at his home in Williamsburg, VA. He is survived by his wife Kate, his sister Candace, 2 brothers, Craig and Robin. He was a 1953 graduate of LeRoy Central School.Amemorial will be held in the near future.
