Kim & Tom Cox joined us from the Geneseo Rotary Club. Sam Vagg gave an update on the “Christmas Around the World” display on the Wolcott Street Creek Bank. Kim Cox gave a plug for an upcoming home tour in Geneseo. Marcia McKenzie reminded the group of our food drive for the LeRoy Food Pantry. Mary reported that the District Grants Seminar was very enlightening and a great time. Tammy Arneth reminded the group of the upcoming Encore Event at GCC on December 1st at the Stuart Steiner Event Center. Betsy Halvorsen, Tom Feely, Steve Falitico, Martha Bailey, Erik Fix, TammyArneth, and Mike Tucci were all called on for missed meetings. Most had make ups. Mary Young was fined for some trouble with customs on a recent Rotary outing. Tom Feely happily paid up for a new baseball cap. Sully played “Rotary Grab Bag” and scored someMilkDuds. DavidGrayson and Randy Vink paid up for past theatrical transgressions. Mike Tucci score a new koozie from our “Rotary Grab Bag”. Marcia McKenzie was fined for a picture of her grandchildren. Betsey Halvorson was recognized for a milestone on her career. Finally, Mary Margret Ripley paid up for a new bobblehead. Ben Deragon from Cameron Brady Funeral Home, an All Star Rotarian, gave an excellent program on basic first aid that almost anyone can administer during a medical emergency. Regardless of how severe, almost all bleeding can be controlled. Mild bleeding will usually stop on its own. If severe bleeding is not controlled, it may lead to shock and eventually death.
