LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - SEPTEMBER 16, 2018 Police Report A 4 month investigation by the LeRoy Police Department has resulted in the arrest of one member of a larceny ring out of the City of Rochester on 9/10/2018. The investigation started on 5/14/2018 when a business on West Main St in the village called to report a Larceny in progress from the store. The suspect vehicle was located upon response by Patrols, at which time the alleged thieves fled, creating a short lived police chase which was called off do to the dangers it posed. A subsequent follow up investigation tracked the alleged thieves showing numerous similar cases both in the City of Rochester and in different towns in Monroe County. Eventually there was allegedly enough evidence to charge one member of the ring and an Arrest Warrant was issued. The investigation is ongoing. 38 year old Erica Bomberry of 18 Crittenden Way in the City of Rochester was charged with one count of theA-Misdemeanor of Petit Larceny. Bomberry was transported to the LeRoy Court from the Monroe County Correctional Facility for Arraignment and bail was set at $1,000. On September 9, 2018 Shawn M. Walburn was arrest- ed and charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st offense, driving while ability impaired, speed over 55 and un inspect- ed motor vehicle. Shawn was allegedly speeding through the Town of Stafford around 03:07 AM when he was stopped. Shawn was issued appearance tickets returnable to Stafford Town Court on October 25, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Marissa E. Michaels-Con- nors of Buffalo, was arrested on the above indicated charges fol- lowing a one car motor vehicle accident in the Town of Leroy. It is alleged that Connors was driving while intoxicated, and operating while suspended for alcohol related circumstances when her vehicle struck a guide rail. Connors was arraigned in the Town of Leroy Court b. 27 year old, Todd A. Gai- lie Jr. of Myrtle Street, Le Roy was arrested on September 7th, 2018 by the LeRoy Police De- partment for Petit Larceny and Obstructing Governmental Ad- ministration in the Second De- gree, class AMisdemeanors. The incident occurred when the Le Roy Police Depart- ment responded to a business on Lake Street in the Village after receiving a complaint of a male allegedly leaving a restau- rant without paying for food and drinks that he consumed. Upon arrival, the patrols locat- ed Gailie on the railroad tracks in the area and when the patrol confronted Gailie, he allegedly ran from officers. After a brief foot chase Gailie was taken into custody. Gailie was arraigned at Le Roy Town Court by Judge Daryl Sehm and committed to Gene- see County Jail in lieu of $1500 Cash or $3000 Bond. Gailie is to return to Le Roy Town Court on September 20th, 2018.
