Remember you have one of the best titles ever, a “LeRoyan.” I try not to mention people who have died in my column simply because everyone has a special place in our commu- nity and it is hard to draw a line, but sometimes I have to break this rule. Last week Don Bausch passed away, Don served on the Village Board for many years, and helped guide LeRoy through some of it’s tough- est times. Even after his years of service he would still take the time out to reach out to me about what was going on in the village. His kind words meant a lot to me. Don may have moved out of LeRoy but his heart never left. “Not how long, but how well you have lived is the main thing.” ~ Seneca
