Perennials, bulbs, houseplants and other garden items were sold. Pictured above is Candy Bower with the door prize (a small flower bench) which she won. The money raised at the auction will be used to cover the cost of putting flowers in the planters on Main Street, at the Post Office, the Statue of Liberty, and the gaze- bo on the creek bank. As well as being used to maintain the gardens around the signboards at the village entrances. During the summer the Garden Club will be touring gardens in Hilton, Wyoming and the George Eastman House in Rochester. Contact Rita Wallace at 768-2712 for more information.
