The Le Roy Stafford Senior Citizens get together on the third Wednesday of every month from March through December. We meet in the Knights of Columbus Hall on West Main St. behind Save-A-Lot. Bring a generous dish to pass per person, or pay $4.00 for a delicious meal and good company. Dinner is served at 6:00pm. Bring your own place setting, coffee & tea are provided as well as dessert. Dinner is followed by programs of a variety of entertainment. The program for May 16th is Bev Hess, The Music Lady. The Genesee Valley Civil War Roundtable will be having it's monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 16th at 7pm at the LeRoy United Methodist Church on Trigon Park in LeRoy. The program will be Women Soldiers in the Civil War presented by local historian and Civil War reenactor Joyce Thompson-Hovey. She will come in uniform and enlighten you with little known facts about the role of women as soldiers during the Civil War. Please use the right front entrance at the end of the long sidewalk.
