Police Report 40 year old Jessie P. Polito of 407 Frederick Douglas Street in Rochester was arrested today by the LeRoy Police Department after a lengthy investigation into a stolen purse and credit cards. The investigation started in October of 2017 when the victim reported that an acquaintance al- legedly stole her purse and credit cards in the early morning hours, then used the credit cards in nu- merous locations in Monroe County. Polito was eventually identified through video as the user of the cards and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Polito turned himself into the LeRoy Police Department and was processed and released on an Appearance tick- et to appear in the LeRoy Town Court on May 8, 2018. Polito was charged with three counts of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, E-Felonies for allegedly stealing three credit cards and one count of Petit Larceny, an A-Misdemeanor for stealing the purse.
