Directors Ms. Jessa Dechant and Mrs. Lindsay Buckel auditioned interest- ed 6th grade students in mid September and the ensemble has rehearsed every week up to the performance. The stu- dents have worked hard to prepare their lines, memorize songs and learn dance moves as well as create props and stage dec- orations from scratch! The cast of Madagascar: AMusical Adventure JR will perform for the community at 7:00PM. In lieu of a ticket, the cast is asking patrons to bring one non-perishable food item to donate to local charities. In particular, the cast is collecting boxed or canned dinners (i.e. Chef Boyardee, macaroni & cheese, Hormel meals, Ramen noodles, etc.) single serving cereals or oatmeal, juice boxes, fruit cups, pudding cups, cookies, crackers and soups with lift tops. Boxes will be placed at the doorways as patrons enter the auditorium, and the non-perishable food items may be placed at these stations. You are invited to come see how hard these 6th grade students have worked! The cast is very talented, and the show will make for a fun, free, family night out. We hope to see you on Thurs- day, November 9th at 7:00PM and please don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item with you! The students enjoyed playing Halloween games and eating donuts from a string! Fun and laughs were had by all.
