On November 20-21, 2020, we hosted TANYS TOUGH: The Power of Theatre – 2020 Virtual Festival , our first-ever virtual event. We were pleased to bring a newly-imagined Festival experience to you, completely online. While it wasn’t the same as our traditional in-person annual Festival, this online event gave us a new and different opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and celebrate… in a safe, socially-distanced, fun way. TANYS was thrilled to welcome attendees from multiple states and countries, as far away as China. (No, we were not hacked, LOL! This was a legit registered attendee.) Everyone enjoyed two full days of: • Inspiring keynote presentations from two stars of stage and screen. • A virtual performance of 26 Pebbles by Eric Ulloa, performed by Indian River High School’s Theatre of the Performing Arts. • 14 (yes, FOURTEEN!) educational workshops , conducted by 11 amazing presenters from across the U.S. and Canada (all were profiled in our Fall 2020 Callboard) .
