The Board of Di- rectors of TANYS would like to to solicit proposals for a group who would be inter- ested in hosting the Festival in 2019 and 20. We are finishing this Festival with a 6 year run at Cayuga Community College in Auburn. The Auburn folk love having you all here but we are tired and need to see the Festival somewhere else. Think about it- Hosting a TANYS Festival is a big en- deavor but also very satisfactory to bring theatre lovers from throughout NY State to your “home”. We are requesting propos- als now so that the new Festival Chair will have the opportunity (and requirement!) to work with the existing crew to get an idea of all that is required of them. There are very specific needs that a site must meet in order to host the festival. This informa- tion is available by contacting the TANYS office at info@tanys.org for the guidelines. While all proposals will be considered TA- NYS would prefer to move East since we were in the Western part of the state for five years in Batavia. TANYS NEEDS YOU to step up! The Board will render their decision and con- tact the winning group. We hope to an- nounce the new site at the closing ceremo- ny of the 2018 Festival. The following companies requested listing their upcoming productions in the Callboard: Oswego Players, Oswego, NY: “A Christmas Story”, Dec. 1,2,7 & 8.
